Note from Jeff Miller, founder/owner of Mountain Lens LLC

Mountain Lens, the highly-acclaimed photography workshop venue in the Blue Ridge Mountains of Western NC, has morphed into a coaching and training service that offers highly customized photography instruction and other related photography services.

I’ve brought to this new format all of the photography experience and expertise that the workshop format previously offered — and more! Enhanced by a highly individualized and efficient teaching approach that meets photographers “where they are” in their creative and technical journey, we help propel photographers at every level to meet their unique personal goals.

For a time, this “archival” website that you’re now viewing is a snapshot of Mountain Lens history in its original form. I invite you now to experience the new paradigm at:

Thank you so much, and I hope to see you soon at the new site.

Mountain Lens is a unique twenty-acre retreat nestled in the Blue Ridge Mountains that offers educational programs for photographers and other creative individuals. Even if you’re not a photographer, Mountain Lens offers peaceful getaways for nature-lovers. Our primary mission is to help photographers and other artists nurture, share, and master their craft and artistry in a peaceful and supportive environment.

Our training center steps out to a serene pond, a scenic waterfall, two footbridges, and a mile of trails along meandering creeks and a forested hillside. Steps away are an elegant two-suite cottage and a private carriage house, accommodating up to eleven people for extended stays and workshops.

You’ll be less than fifteen minutes from Hendersonville’s charming shops and restaurants, with Brevard and Asheville easily within reach.
