FINE ART PHOTOGRAPHYBased in Henderson County, NC most of my scenic photography is captured in Western NC and Eastern TN. Favorite locations include Pisgah National Forest, Dupont State Forest, and the Great Smoky Mountains National Park. I look for beautiful light and compelling subjects on back roads everywhere.
ARCHITECTURAL PHOTOGRAPHY
I have completed assignments for many local architects, designers, builders, and developers to produce quality images of interiors and exteriors for both residential and commercial projects.
DIGITAL IMAGING
Using many of the latest digital imaging technologies, I work side-by-side with both film and digital
photographers to help them transform their photos into fine art digital masters from which they
can create publications, framed art, web images, and virtually any other form of presentation.
FINE ART PRINTMAKING
I have worked with over fifty photographers to create large fine art prints on canvas and a wide
variety of media. I have also worked with over twenty artists to create highly-detailed, colorcorrect
digital masters and reproductions of their fine art.
INSTRUCTION
I instruct at workshops each spring at the Great Smoky Mountains Institute at Tremont and each
fall at Chimney Rock Park. I also conduct slide presentations and training programs for various
photography groups and community organizations.
